BEACON - How It Works!
As a BEACON facility partner, you are able to provide your professionals with the ability to enter their preferences for available shifts with your organization. They set up auto-notification parameters based upon specialty, location and shift preferences and are automatically notified of any open shifts that match their preferences. As an facility partner, you enter your shift openings into the BEACON system and publish those needs to your professionals with a simple mouse click. If you need supplemental staffing for the open shifts, you can release just those shifts with a simple click.
Once a professional responds to the email notification you will be given the option to accept, request an interview or decline the request based upon your criteria. If accepted, the shift, assignment and permanent placement will be confirmed and booked as soon as they complete his/her documentation. BEACON stores all the certification, license and other required documentation for each nurse or therapist and provides a single source to organize and manage your documentation to Joint Commission, OSHA and HIPAA standards. Our documentation module will notify your team and the professional of documentation expiration dates and will not allow the professional to confirm a shift without making sure all required documentation is up to date. Once you place the professional, BEACON will even manage the billing aspects of the assignment to provide the end-to-end service you desire and expect.
